We are proud to announce the establishment of our new park at Wentworth West.
It will form the centrepiece of the path around the Twin Bartram Wetland – a great fitness and nature walk.
In addition a significant investment (over $300,000) has been committed to the restoration of the adjoining wetland.
The Twin Bartram Wetland is 12.20 hectares in area and is an important place for animals seeking refuge, food resource and shelter. Wetlands in a urban setting such as this, provide an active stormwater management function, with vegetation filtering nutrients from urban stormwater run-off.
The park is almost at the stage of completion – stay tuned for further updates!
