Make sure your irrigation system is in tip-top shape! That means checking for any damaged sprinkler heads, leaks or other problems needing repair. A faulty system can waste a lot of water and can be the reason for a higher bill.

It is also important to find out your watering days and make sure your sprinkler run times are correct. Your irrigation system is hooked up to a standard time controller which should be set to your allocated watering days and only water once a day (either before 9am or after 6pm).
